Day 1: ARRIVAL – HANGZHOU: HU XUEYAN'S RESIDENCE, HU QING YU TANG MUSEUM
Upon arrival at Hangzhou Airport, a local representative will greet you and take you directly to your hotel. Later, take a stroll along Hefang Street, and visit the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan, a window into 19th-century Hangzhou life. Continue to the Hu Qing Yu Tang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine and try a special Ginseng Coffee. Return to your hotel to enjoy the twilight view of West Lake, with its serene waters and surrounding hills. In the evening, head to Hubin Pedestrian Street for dinner (at your own expense) and explore the lively streets offering tax-free shopping and vibrant nightlife.

Day 2: HANGZHOU: LIANGZHU ANCIENT CITY, GONGCHEN BRIDGE, QIAOXI HISTORIC BLOCK
After breakfast at your hotel, begin your day at the Liangzhu Museum, where you’ll discover artifacts and insights into one of China’s earliest Neolithic cultures, followed by a stroll through the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. Continue to the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and admire the historic Gongchen Bridge. Wander along the charming Qiaoxi Zhijie Historic Street Block, then enjoy a hands-on workshop at the Handicraft Living Museum, where you can craft your own traditional paper umbrella.

Day 3: HANGZHOU: LINGYIN TEMPLE, FEILAI FENG – DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the famous Lingyin Temple, one of Hangzhou’s most iconic Buddhist sites, renowned for its intricate carvings and serene atmosphere. Explore the adjoining Feilai Peak scenic area, where ancient grottoes and stone inscriptions offer a glimpse into centuries of spiritual and cultural history. After the visit, depart from Hangzhou to continue your journey.
Comfortable and light clothing is best suited to travel in the warm months and warm clothing in the colder months in China. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or sparse clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses and a hat can be very useful during your stay.
